BARCOA For SCIENCE & SCIENTIST - BARCOA is the representative body of scientists and engineers of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, founded by Padma Vibhushan Dr H. N Sethna in 1967 with an aim to dedicate this body, for advancement of science, scientific activity and science administration in the country.

Our motto is that life built on this foundation will lead to development of human values, which in turn will provide service to the society. With this, BARCOA has expanded its activity from science and has come forward to work for the general welfare for societal cause. In keeping with pace of advancement of technology, BARCOA perhaps was the first association, which understood the importance of computer education in the country and set up an educational complex for the benefit of society in 1988.
